Painkiller Jane (2007 TV Series)

Painkiller Jane is the 2007 live-action SYFY Channel TV series based on the independent comics of the same name created by Joe Quesada and Jimmy Palmiotti.

Kristanna Loken (Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines) stars as DEA Agent Jane Vasco who infiltrates a shadow government agency tasked with tracking down enhanced humans called "neuros." In her first mission, Jane discovers she has the superhuman ability to rapidly head from any injury. While it looks like she may be a neuro herself, team doctor Seth Carpenter (Stephen Lobo) hypothesizes she may be something else entirely.

Rob Stewart, Noah Danby and Alaina Huffman also star.

The series was developed by Gil Grant. It ran for a single season of 22 episodes, but was not renewed for a second season.
