Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation is the Fox Kids 1997 live-action TV series based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird.
The series is probably best remembered for introducing a fifth Ninja turtle, a female named Venus de Milo. In addition to the four classic turtles, the series also featured Splinter, Shredder and the Foot Clan. Aside from that other characters were newly created for the show including a cadre of evil dragons called The Rank. The show, produced by Saban Entertainment, crossed over with that company's flagship property, Power Rangers.
The show was developed by Dan Clark and ran for only a single season of 26 episodes.
