MGM has announced plans for The Addams Family 2 an animated follow up to last year's The Addams Family, both based on the comic strips of Charles Addams. The new movie is expected in theaters October 8, 2021.
The new film will reassemble the voice talent from the previous movie, which includes Charlize Theron as Morticia, Oscar Isaac as Gomez, Chloë Grace Moretz as Wednesday, Nick Kroll as Fester, Bette Midler as Grandma and Snoop Dogg as It. New to the cast are Bill Hader (Barry) as Cyrus and Javon "Wanna" Walton taking over the role of Pugsley.
Director Greg Tiernan is also returning. The film is produced by Gail Berman, Conrad Vernon, Danielle Sterling and Alison O’Brien. Executive Producers are Jonathan Glickman, Cassidy Lange and Andrew Mittman. Laura Brousseau and Kevin Pavlovic will serve as co-directors alongside Tiernan.
