Men in Black II is the 2002 Sony Pictures Entertainment live-action feature film based on the Malibu Comics title of the same name created by Lowell Cunningham. It is a direct sequel to Men In Black and the second film in the Men In Black film series.
Will Smith reprises his role as Jay, who must bring his former partner Kay (Tommy Lee Jones) out of retirement (and forced amnesia) to stop the space conqueror Serleena (Lara Flynn Boyle). Serleena is a shape-shifter who is out to reclaim a powerful intergalactic artifact called the Light of Zartha. The key to it all seems to be Laura (Rosario Dawson), who Jay is in love with and Serleena wants to kill.
Newcomer Johnny Knoxville joins the cast of returning players which include Rip Torn and Tony Shalhoub. Noteworthy cameos by Michael Jackson, Martha Stewart, Patrick Warburton and Peter Graves.
