Moon Knight is the 2022 Disney+ live-action TV series produced by Marvel Studios based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name.
According to the streamer, the story follows Steven Grant, a mild-mannered gift-shop employee, who becomes plagued with blackouts and memories of another life. Steven discovers he has dissociative identity disorder and shares a body with mercenary Marc Spector. As Steven/Marc's enemies converge upon them, they must navigate their complex identities while thrust into a deadly mystery among the powerful gods of Egypt.
Oscar Isaac (X-Men: Apocalypse) plays Grant/Spector/Moon Knight. Ethan Hawke has plays Arthur Harrow, the cult-leader villain to loosens Grant's tenuous grip on reality into a full-blown costumed crusade. The cast also includes May Calamawy (Ramy), possibly playing Marlene Alraune and the late Gaspard Ulliel as Anton Morgart (aka Midnight Man).
Jeremy Slater, architect of the Netflix series The Umbrella Academy, is the lead writer on the show. Directors include Mohamed Diab (Clash) and duo Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead (Spring, Synchronic).
