Images from this week's episode of Marvel's Spider-Man reveals an Avengers team-up of, well, secondary proportions. Spidey rounds up a legion of substitute heroes which include baby Groot, Ironheart, Hulk (the Amadeus Cho one), Kid Arachnid (aka Miles Morales) and Doctor Strange (the real one). Watch "Amazing Friends," (which is the third episode of season 3 to air, but the press materials indicate it is the 14th) on May 17 on Disney XD.
The official synopsis for the episode: "When Toddler Groot lands on Earth to deliver an urgent warning, Spider-Man must decode the message and keep him out of the evil clutches of A.I.M. and Baron Mordo. Felicia Day stars as Mary Jane Watson, Sofia Wylie guest stars as Ironheart/Riri Williams and Leonard Roberts guest stars as Baron Mordo."
