Captain Marvel investigates alien portals that are transporting heroes like Iron Man, Groot, Spider-Ham and Throg to a mysterious patchwork planet created by Thanos, in this opening episode of Funko's Marvel Battleworld: Mystery of the Thanosstones.

Marvel Battleworld is an animated web series based on various Marvel comics and concepts, promoting the collectible tabletop game developed by Funko.

In the season one of series, Mystery of the Thanosstones,  Thanos kidnaps heroes and villains from around the Marvel Universe and carries them to to the Battleworld, a planet made up of similarly transported cities and places.  There the heroes and villains must battle to be free.

The series initially ran on Marvel HQ and Disney XD.
