Krypto the Superdog is the 2005 Cartoon Network animated series based on the DC Comics character of the same name, and related super-pets.
The premise for the series finds Superman (Michael Daingerfield) placing Krypto (Sam Vincent) with a boy named Kevin (Alberto Ghisi), as superheroing leaves the Man of Steel with little time to care for a pet. Krypto maintains his secret identity as an ordinary house pet, while also having adventures with his super pet friends: Streaky the Supercat (Brian Drummond) and Ace the Bat Hound (Scott McNeil) to name a few. Villain pets include Lex Luthor's iguana Ignacius, Joker's hyenas Bud and Lou, and Catwoman's cat Isis (Kathleen Barr).
The series was developed by Alan Burnett and Paul Dini (Batman: The Animated Series). It ran for two seasons and a total of 39 episodes.
