Chris D'Amico (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) pretends to be his Dad, until dad Frank (Mark Strong) gets an important phone call in this clip from Kick-Ass. Enjoy, courtesy of Lionsgate's Dollar Theater.
Kick-Ass is the 2010 Marv Films live-action adaptation of the Icon Comics title of the same name, created by Mark Millar and John Romita Jr.
Aaron Johnson stars as Dave Lizewski, an ordinary kid in something approximating the ordinary world, who sets out to be a costumed super hero. With no powers to speak of, other than an increased tolerance of pain due to sever nerve damage after his first outing, Dave becomes the hero Kick-Ass and inspires a new fad. Other vigilantes emerge such as Big Daddy (Nicolas Cage), Hit-Girl (Chloe Grace Moretz) and Red Mist (Christopher Mintz-Plasse). He also draws fire from gangster Frank D'Amico (Mark Strong) who happens to be the father of Red Mist.
Matthew Vaughn produced and directed the film from a script he co-wrote with Jane Goldman.
