Here (film)

Here is a planned feature film adaptation of the Pantheon Books graphic novel of the same name by Richard McGuire.

Tom Hanks is set to star. Robert Zemeckis is attached to direct from a script he is co-writing with Eric Roth. The trio previously collaborated on Forrest Gump.

Hanks' Playtone and Zemeckis' ImageMovers are producing the pic, which is said to have the interest of a number of streaming outlets.

The publisher provides this synopsis of the book: "From one of the great comic innovators, the long-awaited fulfillment of a pioneering comic vision. Richard McGuire’s Here is the story of a corner of a room and of the events that have occurred in that space over the course of hundreds of thousands of years."
