Garfield and Friends is the 1988 CBS animated TV series based on the comic strip character Garfield the Cat created by Jim Davis.
The show, launched at the height of the comic strip's popularity. Episodes featured a primary segment with Garfield and a secondary short focusing on U.S. Acres, another strip developed by Davis. Lorenzon Music provides the voice of Garfield. Other voices include Thom Huge as Jon Arbuckle, Gregg Berger as Odie, Desireee Goyette as Nermal and Julie Payne as Dr. Liz Wilson.
Garfield and Friends was extremely successful and ran for seven seasons for a total of 121 episodes.
