The Empty Man
The Empty Man is a live-action 20th Century Studios film based on the comic book series by Cullen Bunn and Vannessa Del Rey, published by Boom! Studios.
The comics posted on a modern disease that instills rage, hallucinations, suicidal ideations and seemingly-lifeless state of catatonia called "empty." With the cause unknown, cult thinking views the outbreak through a religious lens. The CDC and the FBI join forces to try to unravel the seemingly supernatural plague.
The movie is written and directed by David Prior, known mostly for shorts and behind-the-scenes documentaries. It stars James Badge Dale, Samantha Logan, Stephen Root, Joel Courtney, Marin Ireland and Aaron Poole.
