A tweet from CW Seed reveals the premiere date to Deathstroke: Knights and Dragons. The new series featuring everyone's favorite DCU villain/anti-hero is set to arrive on the free streaming service Monday, January 6th. A trailer for the show debuted in October but there's been little word about the release, until this announcement:
Deatstroke (once aka The Terminator) is a mainstay of DC Entertainment shows, having appeared in live-action form as a key character on the Arrow and Titans TV series as well as making a cameo in the stinger for the Justice League movie.
Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons is an animated feature film based on the DC Comics character of the same name.
Initially announced as a series developed for CW Seed, following in the tradition Vixen and Feedom Fighters: The Ray. Only one episode aired in early 2020 before the work was repackaged as a feature-length release.
Ten years ago, Slade Wilson—aka the super-assassin called Deathstroke—made a tragic mistake and his wife and son paid a terrible price.
