Supergirl's Never-ending Battle Ends With Season 6

The much-loved Supergirl TV series will end with its upcoming sixth season, according to a report from Deadline. The news comes directly from The CW, Warner Bros. TV and Berlanti Productions. The filming of the season has been delayed to accommodate star Melissa Benoist's pregnancy, and then again due to the pandemic shut-downs. That, coupled with the series declining ratings motivated all parties to aim to go out on a high note with an extended, but final season.
