Joker 2 Casts Arkham Inmate

Actor Jacob Lofland is the latest casting addition to Joker: Folie à Deux, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The actor, who had a recent run on the TV series The Son, is set to play an Arkham Asylum inmate who develops a relationship with Joaquin Phoenix's Arthur Fleck.

The report doesn't specify if this character will be a pre-existing DC Comics figure, or a new one made up for the film.

Warner Bros. Discovery is prepping the film for an October 2024 release.
