Thunderbolts Cast Unveiled
Marvel Studios unveiled the cast of their planned Thunderbolts film, according to a report from Deadline.
So far the roster for the team of less-than-reputable heroes includes many that were easily predicted: Florence Pugh as Ylena, Wyatt Russell as USAgent and Julia Louis-Dreyfus as the ringleader, Val.
Also revealed to be on the team are Sebastian Stan's Winter Soldier, David Harbour's Red Guardian, Olga Kurylenko's Taskmaster and Hannah John-Kamen's Ghost.
The film is due in theaters July 26, 2024.
The Leader Finally Arrives in Captain America 4
A tease from 2008's Incredible Hulk will finally pay off in Captain America: New World Order.
Variety reports that actor Tim Blake Nelson will reprise the role of Samuel Sterns, who is exposed to some gamma tech at the end of the 2008 movie, and begins a cranial metamorphosis into Hulk's hyper-intellectual nemesis, The Leader.
The announcement comes from D23 Expo where Marvel is presenting various projects.
Also joining the cast is Shira Haas as the Israeli super soldier, Sabra.
Reprising their roles from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier are Anthony Mackie as the new Cap, Danny Ramirez as Joaquin Torres (future Falcon) and Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley.
Ke Huy Quan Joins Loki 2
Actor Ke Huy Quan is among the cast for Marvel Studios' second season of Loki. Deadline reports that the announcement was made at D23 Expo, but no further details were offered. Huy Quan debuted as a child actor playing Short Round in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, but he was seen most recently in the best multiverse movie of recent years, Everything Everywhere All At Once. Marvel Studios' Armor Wars Gets New Logo
Missing from this summer's Marvel Studios Comic-Con announcements was any mention of the long-gestating Armor Wars TV series. Marvel has apparently presented the show in some fashion at this weekend's D23 Expo conference, and provided an updated logo for the show. There are still few details with regards to dates and talent attachments, other than Don Cheadle who will return to the role of Jim Rhodes.
