Snowpiercer Starts Season 3 in January
The social campaign for Snowpiercer has posted some new key art announcing the start of season three. The new comes in the form of a poster which ominously depicts footprints - lots of them - in snow-covered train tracks. Has the train stopped running? Are the passengers pushing it or just proceeding on foot? Stamped in the snow is the start date of January 24, 2022. Tune into TNT next year to find out.
The Flash Drops S8 Armageddon Poster
The CW has dropped a new poster for the season eight start of The Flash. The poster touts the "Armageddon" 5-episode event storyline which assembles a team of superheroes from the Arrowverse, including Brandon Routh as the Atom, Chyler Leigh as Sentinel, Katherine McNamara as Green Arrow, Cress Williams as Black Lightning and Javicia Leslie as Batwoman. Also front and center are the series stars Grant Gustin and Candice Patton. The show returns November 16.
McFarlane Developing Thumbs for TV
A Deadline article detailing Todd McFarlane's push into television reveals that at the top of his list are plans for a live-action Thumbs TV series based on the Image Comics title of the same name created by Sean Lewis and Hayden Sherman. Anders Weidemann, who created the Paramount+ series Interrogation, is writing the script for the series as well as executive producing. The book focuses on a tech industry leader who has leveraged his technology to motivate an army of young Americans to dismantle the government. Charley "Thumbs" Fellows is one such young American who becomes central to the war.
McFarlane and Sean Canino are executive producers for McFarlane Films. Allard Cantor and Jarrod Murray are producing for Epicenter. Lewis is also a producer. The production company wiip is also involved.
