Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Production Takes a Break
As reported a few weeks ago, production on Marvel Studios' Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was starting a production pause due to an injury sustained by star Letitia Wright. Now Deadline is reporting that the studio is not planning on resuming production until January. The word hit the cast and crew this morning via a note from Marvel's top dogs.
Wright was injured in a stunt-rig mishap last August, but reports at the time claimed her injuries were minor. Deadline's new report reveals the injuries were not minor. In fact, Wright suffered a fractured shoulder and a concussion from the event. The production continued and worked around her absence but is now forced to pause until she is fully recovered.
Batwoman | Nicole Kang as Poison Ivy
Ever-altruistic Mary Hamilton has been losing control since the outset of Batwoman, season three. Now, the social campaign for the series has released a poster revealing the culmination of that descent: actor Nicole Kang in full Poison Ivy mode. The character has been infected by a rouge weapon that Batman had captured from the original version of the character. Poison Mary will make her full debut in the mid-season finale episode, "Pick Your Poison," which arrives November 24 on The CW.
