The Boys Spinoff Adds 3
The casting process for the Untitled Spin-off of The Boys continues to be a game of musical chairs. A few weeks ago the series lost another one if its leads. Now Deadline reports that three more actors have signed on for the show. Patrick Schwarzenegger (The Staircase), Sean Patrick Thomas (The Tragedy of Macbeth) and Marco Pigossi (Invisible City) are the latest names added to the roster for the Prime Video series.
Reportedly Schwarzenegger is playing Golden Boy (who has been name-dropped in the VNN: Seven On 7 web series). Thomas is said to be playing Polarity and Pigossi is playing Dr. Cardosa.
The Crow Reboot Rolls Cameras This Summer
Deadline reports that a reboot of James O'Barr's cult classic comic The Crow is moving full speed ahead. Bill Skarsgard is attached to star as Eric Draven, a man brutally murdered and resurrected to enact vengeance on those that killed him and his fiancé. FKA Twigs is attached to play his doomed love. Rupert Sanders (Snow White and the Huntsman) is set to direct from a script by Zach Baylin (King Richard). The movie is said to be filming in Czech Republic and Germany this summer. Molly Hassell, Victor Hadida, John Jencks and Edward R. Pressman are producing.
