Christina Ricci Joins Wednesday Addams Cast

Actor Christina Ricci, the original Wednesday Addams from the 1990s Addams Family film series, has joined the cast of Netflix's Wednesday series according to a report from Deadline. While the show focuses on a prep-school-aged Wednesday Addams (played by Jenna Ortega), rumors indicate that Ricci is not playing an adult version of the character, but rather a completely new character. The character is said to be a major part of the show and one that would "surprise" fans. The seriesc completes filming this month.
