Ms. Marvel Gets First Poster

To coincide with the trailer drop and release date announcement, the social campaign for Marvel Studios' new Ms. Marvel series has also released a poster for the film. The key art depicts a key moment from the trailer in which newly-empowered dream Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani) is perched atop a street lamp watching a shooting star (which is, perhaps, Captain Marvel) in the sky. The beat is an homage to Adrian Alphona cover art from issue #5 of the 2014 comics series. The new show arrives on Disney+ June 8.
