Apple TV+ orders Strange Planet Series From Dan Harmon
Deadline reports that TV creator Dan Harmon (Rick and Morty) is developing Nathan W. Pyle's webcomics series Strange Planet for animation. Apple TV+ has made a series commitment to the show, which features some cute blue aliens who are a lot like us but speak in oddly over-specific language. Harmon and Pyle are producing the show for Apple Studios. Amalia Levari is the showrunner. Alex Bulkley and Corey Campodonico are producing for ShadowMachine (Bojack Horseman), the animators behind it. Steve Levy and Taylor Alexy Pyle are executive producers.
