Marvel Studios' What If...? Drops Watcher Poster
The social campaign for Marvel Studios' What If...? Has released a second poster promoting the show. This one features the cosmic being known as The Watcher. The Watcher is a member of a race of ethereal historians who observe and record everything that happens throughout the multiverses, but never intervene. The character is voiced by Jeffrey Wright and serves as the host of the anthology series. The Watchers have previously been seen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a Stan Lee cameo gag in Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2. The show arrives on Disney+ August 11.
The Bad Guys Gets Voice Cast
Variety has the scoop on the top-shelf voice cast that's been hired for DreamWorks Animation's adaptation of Aaron Blabey's graphic novel series The Bad Guys. The cast currently includes includes Sam Rockwell (Iron Man 2), Awkwafina (Shang-Chi), Anthony Ramos (In the Heights), Marc Maron (Joker), Craig Robinson (The Office), Zazie Beetz (Deadpool 2), Lilly Singh, Alex Borstein (Catwoman) and Richard Ayode (Paddington 2).
The film focuses on a gang of four dangerous animal criminals Mr. Wolf, Mr. Piranha, Mr. Snake, and Mr. Shark who embark on a plan to change their stripes and go good. Animator Pierre Perifel (Kung Fu Panda) is making his directorial debut with the film. Etan Choen (Madagascar 2) and Hilary Winston are writing the script. Damon Ross and Rebecca Huntley are producing. Blabey, Cohen and Patrick Hughes are executive producers.
