Actor Michaela Coel has joined the cast of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, according to a write-up on Variety. The filmmaker/actress, coming off her critically acclaimed series I May Destroy You, has reportedly arrived at Pinewood Studios in Atlanta to join the projection. The role she's playing has not been disclosed.
Leslie Grace to Star in Batgirl Feature
Leslie Grace, who burned up the big screen earlier this year in In the Heights, has landed the lead role in the Batgirl movie. Deadline reports the she will play Barbara Gordon in the film, which is being developed by Warner Bros. for HBO Max.
She-Hulk adds Arrow Alum
Deadline reports that actor Josh Segarra is the latest addition to the cast of Marvel Studios' She-Hulk series. Segarra is known to genre fans for his run as Adrian Chase on Arrow. The report is not specific about what role he'll be playing in the show but he joins an impressive cast that includes Tatiana Maslany, Mark Ruffalo and Tim Roth.

The movie, based on the video game Injustice: Gods Among Us and its ancillary comic adaptations, features a Earth-conquering Superman, manipulated into madness by the Joker, and Batman's efforts to defeat him.

Indie Comics The Antagonists Scores TV Deal
A report from Deadline indicates that indie publisher Godhood Comics has scored a TV deal for its upcoming title, The Antagonists. Braham Entertainment has secured the TV rights ahead of the comics debut next month. The series, created by Tyler F. Martin and Felipe Dunbar, focuses on a married supervillains Desructus and Ultima who retire from their life of villainy after nearly toppling the U.S. government. Now living in Detroit ad keeping a low-profile the couples path to redemption is disrupted as their past catches up with them.
