Harley Quinn 3 Gets Red Band Trailer
Season three of Harley Quinn is less than a week away. The social campaign for the series just dropped a raunchy Red Band trailer for the series, starring Kaley Cuoco as Harley, Lake Bell as Poison Ivy and Alan Tudyk as The Joker. Due to age restrictions, we can't embed the trailer here, so you'll have to click over to YouTube to watch it.
The Boys Spin-off Offcially Announced as Gen V
After almost two years of talk, the spin-off of The Boys is no longer "untitled." A late-Friday social media post reveals the title of the series a Gen V. Appearing on the reel are young and attractive cast members Jaz Sinclaire, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Lizze Broadway, Chance Perdomo, London Thor, Asa Germann, Maddie Phillips and Derek Luh who will be playing young and attractive superheroes in training at Godolkin University, the Vought-controlled training arena.
The cast promises the "intensity, the grit and the humor," of the core show, but also "love and beautiful relationships." It's a college show so Phillips forecasts, "lots of hormones and drama and mystery," as well.
The announcement stops short of providing a time-frame for the show, so we'll guess late 2022 or early 2023.
Adam Scott Joins Madame Web
We can add Adam Scott to the list of actors appearing in Sony Pictures' Madame Web movie. Deadline reports that the Severance actor is joining in, you guessed it, an unspecified role. The movie seems to be taking shape quickly to meet its July 2023 release date.
Loki 2 Adds Rafael Casal
The second season of Marvel Studios' Loki has a new villain. Deadline reports actor Rafael Casal has been seen on the set of the now-filming season. Although there is no official confirmation of the role Casal will be playing, current speculation is that he's playing the Thor villain Zaniac. Casal is best know for co-writing, producing and co-starring in the film Blindspotting, as well as producing the subsequent TV series based on the film. Loki 2 will likely hit Disney+ next year.
