Brubaker's Criminal Headed for TV

Amazon Studios has a TV series in development based on the Image Comics title Criminal.

Deadline reports that writer Ed Brubaker, who co-created the series with Sean Phillips, is writing, executive producing and serving as Showrunner on the series.

The show will follow a number of intersecting crime stories, based on the stories in the anthology comics series.

Nick Pepper at Amazon and Matt King of Wholly Owned Content are championing the series as producers.
