Danny Elfman In, Thora Birch Out For Wednesday Addams Series
Composer Danny Elfman will re-team with frequent collaborator Tim Burton on Netflix's Wednesday series, according to The Hollywood Reporter. He'll be composing the theme song for the Addams Family series. Burton is directing and producing.
In related news, actor Thora Birch (The Walking Dead) has parted ways with the show. Deadline broke the news last week that Birch had to leave the project, filming now in Romania. MGM made an official statement that Birch is dealing with "a personal manner and will not be returning to the the projection."
Peacemaker Gets Multilingual Character Posters
The social campaign for Peacemaker has dropped a whole new set of character posters. It's a worldwide rollout for the HBO Max series, so the posters for different character are targeted for different language markets. Featured are John Cena as Peacemaker, Freddie Stroma as Vigilante, Chukwudi Iwuji as Clemson Murn, Jennifer Holland as Emilia Harcourt, Danielle Brooks as Leota Adebayo, Steve Agee as John Economos and, of course, Eagly. The series hits streaming on January 13.
