Matthew Rhys Getting Wyrd on FX

Emmy-winning actor Matthew Rhys (The Americans, Perry Mason) is set to star in an adaptation of the Dark Horse Entertainment comic Wyrd for FX. Deadline reports that Rhys will be an executive producer on the series which focuses on an extraterrestrial being living on Earth as the leading paranormal investigator. Sheldon Turner (Up in the Air) is developing the series under his Vendetta Productions label. Keri Russell and Jennifer Klein are also executive producers. Mike Richardson, Keith Goldberg and Chris Tongue are producing for Dark Horse. The comic series was created by Curt Pires and Antonio Fuso.
