Resident Alien 2 Gets January Release
SYFY Channel has announced the season two start of Resident Alien. The new run is set to start Wednesday, January 26 at 9pm with the debut episode airing simultaneously SYFY and USA Network. The show will then air Wednesdays at 9pm on SYFY only until March 16, when it goes on mid-season hiatus. That's eight episodes in the first half of season two.
SYFY provides this synopsis for season two: "In season two of Resident Alien, Harry (Alan Tudyk) is once again stranded on Earth where he must confront the consequences of having failed his people’s mission to destroy the human race. On his new quest to protect the people of Earth, Harry struggles to hold on to his alien identity as his human emotions grow stronger by the day. In an adventure that takes Harry and Asta (Sara Tomko) all the way to New York City, Asta brings Harry into the arms of someone he can call family. While back in Patience, Sheriff Mike (Corey Reynolds) and Deputy Liv (Elizabeth Bowen) find themselves closer to unraveling the mystery of Sam Hodges’s murder."
The series is paired on Wednesdays with newcomer Astrid & Lilly Save the World, which is about two quirky school girls who accidently open a portal to the monster dimension and have to hunt down the horrors they've unleashed on the world.
