Wonder Woman is the 1975 live-action TV series based on the DC Comics character of the same name.
Lynda Carter stars in what is one of the most fondly-remembered, iconic depictions of a comic book character in television. She plays princess Diana who leaves Paradise Island to shepherd lost airman Steve Trevor (Lyle Waggoner) back to man's world.
Season one of the series originated on the ABC Television Network and was set during World War II.
For the second season, the series moved to CBS where it was updated to a contemporary setting. Lyle Waggonner continued as the love-interest, playing Steve Trevor Jr., the spitting image of his father.
Other noteworthy guest actors included Ed Begley Jr., Rick Springfield and Debra Winger, who was being prepped for a Wonder Girl spin-off that never happened.
The show ran for a total three seasons.
