The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon is the 2023 AMC live-action TV series spinning off from The Walking Dead.
Norman Reedus continues the titular role that he originated in season one of the core series.
Synopsis: In The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, Daryl washes ashore in France and struggles to piece together how he got there and why. The series tracks his journey across a broken but resilient France as he hopes to find a way back home. As he makes the journey, though, the connections he forms along the way complicate his ultimate plan.
Clémence Poésy (The Essex Serpent) also stars as Isabelle, the leader of a progressive religious group who accompanies Daryl on his European quest.
Adam Nagaitis (The Terror) is cast as Quinn, a displaced Brit who runs the post-apocalyptic nightclub Demimonde in Paris.
Also cast are Anne Charrier, Eriq Ebanouey, Laika Blanc Francard, Louis Puech Scigliuzzi and Romain Levi.
David Zabel will serve as showrunner, with Angela Kang and Scott M. Gimple sitting as executive producers along with Reedus, Greg Nicotero, Brian Bockrath and Daniel Percival.
AMC initially announced the series in September of 2020, with the focus on the continuing story of Daryl Dixon and Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride). However, April of 2022 brought news that McBride was no longer going to be involved and Reedus would be the sole lead.
