V Wars is the 2019 Netflix TV series based on the IDW Publishing comics of the same name.
Global warming releases a dormant virus from the ice, a virus that transforms humans into vampires. Dr. Luther Swann (Ian Somerhalder) and associate Michael Fayne (Adrian Holmes) struggle to cope with the erupting virus that is slowly pushing humans and vampires into war. The series also stars Laura Vandervoort, Kimberly-Sue Murray, Sydney Meyer and Peter Outerbridge.
The series was developed by Thomas Vencelides.
V Wars received mixed reviews from critics and did not attract an audience. Netflix cancelled the show just a few months after its release.
