TMNT is the 2007 Warner Bros animated feature film adaptation of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird.
The movie finds the titular heroes separated as Leonardo (James Arnold Taylor) has departed the sewers to battle injustice in the jungles of South America. Raphael (Nolan North) has gone the Batman route, adopting the masked identity of The Nightwatcher. Donatello (Mitchell Whitfield) and Michelangelo (Mikey Kelley) are a bit more laid back, working in info tech and kids entertainment respectively. April O'Neill (Sarah Michelle Gellar) encounters Leo while searching for a lost relic and convinces him to return to the city, not realizing that the relic she's delivering will help the film's villain, Max Winters (Patrick Stewart) awaken an ancient power.
The movie was directed by Kevin Munroe from his own screenplay.
TMNT was poorly received by critics, who at least praise it's cool visual design. The movie did well at the box office, but prompted no further sequels in this format.
