The New Addams Family is a 1998 live-action sitcom based on the comic strips of Charles Addams.
This latest iteration was co developed by Saban Entertainment, who had acquired the TV rights to the property and developed a pilot film called Addams Family Reunion. The series features a mostly-different cast with Nicole Fugere being the only holdover, playing Wednesday. The rest of the primary cast is Glen Taranto as Gomez, Ellie Harvie as Morticia, Brody Smith as Pugsley, Betty Phillips as Grandmama, Michael Roberds as Fester and John DeSantis as Lurch. John Astin, who played or voiced Gomez in previous iterations going back to the 1960s series, appears as Grandpapa Addams.
The series was developed for YTV in Canada but also aired on Fox Family Channel in the united states. It ran for one season.
