Surrogates is the 2009 Walt Disney/Touchstone feature film based on the Top Shelf Productions comic book series The Surrogates created by Robert Venditti and Brett Weldele.
Bruce Willis stars as FBI Agent Tom Greer in a future world where most people in society interact through artificial presence bots called, "surrogates." When people start dying while using their surrogates, Greer begins an investigation that uncovers a conspiracy infecting the entire system of surrogates. The film also stars Radha Mitchell, Rosamund Pike, James Cromwell, Ving Rhames and Michael Cudlitz.

The movie did poorly with critics and did not connect with audiences at the box office.
