Superman/Batman: Public Enemies is the 2009 DC Universe animated film adapting the DC Comics story arc "Public Enemies" by Jeph Loeb and Ed McGuinness.
President Lex Luthor (Clancy Brown) invites Superman (Tim Daly) to meet with him in Gotham City. The meeting is just a cover to set Superman and Batman up in a battle with Metallo (John C. McGinley) which result's in the character's death. Luthor frames the two heroes and places a one-billion-dollar bounty on their heads.
The movie also stars Xander Berkely as Captain Atom, Corey Burton as Captain Marvel, Allison Mack as power Girl, LeVar Burton as Black Lightning and CCH Pounder as Amanda Waller.
Superman/Batman: Public Enemies is directed by Sam Liu from a script by Stan Berkowitz. It is followed by Superman/Batman: Apocalypse.
