Richie Rich's Christmas Wish is a direct-to-video sequel to the 1994 theatrical film Richie Rich.
Based on the Harvey Comics featuring the world's richest kid, the movie finds Richie (recast with actor David Gallagher) in a scenario similar to It's A Wonderful Life where, in a moment of discouragement, he wishes he had never been born. Thanks to a (slightly faulty) wish-granting machine invented by Professor Keanbean (Eugene Levy) Richie gets a chance to see what the world is like without him.
The movie was directed by John Murlowski from a script by Jason Feffer, Mark Furey and Rob Kerchner.
