Human Target is a 2010 Fox TV series based on on the DC Comics character and concept of the same name.
Mark Valley stars as Christopher Chance, a private security contractor who specializes in protecting clients who believe they are at imminent risk of assassination. He is aided by Winston (Chi McBride) a former cop who is now his business partner, Guerrero (Jackie Earle Haley) a highly-resourceful former assassin, Ilsa (Indira Varma) a billionaire widow who bankrolls the operation and Armes (Janet Montgomery), a thief out for second chance. The show also had noteworthy guests in Leonor Varela (Blade II), Lennie James (The Walking Dead), Armand Assante, Lee Majors and Tony Hale (Harley Quinn).
The series was developed by Jonathan E. Steinberg (Black Sails) and presents a major departure from the comics. In the source material, Chance is a master of disguise and directly impersonates his clients, living their lives for them until the threat is neutralized.
Human Target received good marks from the critics and the fans. The series ran for two seasons for a total of 25 episodes.
