The Freak Brothers is a 2021 Tubi animated TV series, developed by Lionsgate based on the 1960s comic strip and 1970s underground comic book series The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers by cartoonist Gilbert Shelton.
The show finds the eponymous Brothers slumbering like Buck Rogers after ingesting some especially wacky tobbacky, and waking in the 21st century of today. Featured voices are Woody Harrelson as Freewheelin' Franklin Freek, John Goodman as Fat Freddy Freekowtski, Pete Davidson as Phineas T. Phreakers and Tiffany Haddish as Kitty. Also among the cast are Adam Devine, Blake Anderson, Andrea Savage, La La Anthony, ScHoolboy Q and Phil LaMarr.
The show is written and produced by Dave Krinsky, John Althschuler, Daniel Lehrer and Jeremy Lehrer. Alan Cohen and Alan Freedland and showrunners. Devine and Anderson are executive producers.
