Elektra is the 20th Century Fox 2005 live-action feature film adapting the Marvel Comics character of the same name created by Frank Miller.
Jennifer Garner reprises the role she first played in Daredevil. Here she is resurrected from the dead by ninja master Stick (Terrence Stamp). Now an assassin for hire Elektra is sent to kill a young girl (Kirsten Prout) and her father (Goran Visnjic), who she inadvertently befriends before the contract is revealed. Now she must battle the assassins of The Hand to keep the pair, and herself, alive. Will Yun Lee and Cary-Hiroyuki also appear.
Rob Bowman (The X-Files) directed from a script by Zak Penn, Stuart Zicherman and Raven Metzner.
The film was a major flop with critics, moviegoers and comics fans. It helped sing the studio's interest in the Daredevil franchise and in general seemed to derail Garner's career.
