DC League of Super Pets is the 2022 Warner Bros. Animation feature film based on various DC Comics characters.
The concept originated in books featuring Superman's dog Krypto, Batman's dog Ace, Supergirls cat Streaky and a legion of other furry sidekicks. It's spawned many comics and TV animation segments.
Warner Bros. provides this synopsis for the film: Krypto the Super-Dog (Dwayne Johnson) and Superman (John Krasinski) are inseparable best friends, sharing the same superpowers and fighting crime in Metropolis side by side. When Superman and the rest of the Justice League are kidnapped, Krypto must convince a rag-tag shelter pack -- Ace the hound (Kevin Hart), PB the potbellied pig (Vanessa Bayer), Merton the turtle (Natasha Lyonne) and Chip the squirrel (Diego Luna) -- to master their own newfound powers and help him rescue the Super Heroes.
Other cast members include Kate McKinnon, Marc Maron, Thomas Middleditch, Ben Schwartz and Keanu Reeves as The Batman.
The film is written and directed by Jared Stern (The LEGO Batman Movie) with Sam Levine (Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero) co-directing.
