The Crow: City of Angels: Theatrical Release

The Crow: City of Angels is Miramax Films' 1996 sequel to The Crow, both of which are based on the comic created by James O'Barr. It is the second film in The Crow Film Series.

The spirit of vengeance that is The Crow finds a new host in Ashe Corven (Vincent Perez), a mechanic who is murdered, along with his son. Corven is acquainted with Sarah (Mia Kirshner) a character from the first film who is visited by a crow after the murder, foretelling Corven's imminent resurrection. Corven goes on to hunt down his son's murderers. Richard Brooks also stars.

Music video director Tim Pope helmed the film from a script by David S. Goyer. The movie performed poorly at the box office and was panned by critics.

The movie is followed by The Crow Salvation.
