Agent Carter: Series Premiere

Agent Carter is the 2015 TV series spinning out of the Captain America movies, featuring the Marvel Comics' character Agent Peggy Carter.

Haley Atwell reprises the role she originated in Captain America: The First Avenger in this series set in 1946 America. Now working stateside for the Strategic Science Reserve (SSR the forerunner of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Peggy battles against threats to the country as well as fighting for gender equality. When old acquaintance Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper) is framed for dealing his deadliest weapons to the wrong parties, he enlists Peggy in a mission to reclaim the dangerous items and clear his name. The show also featured Enver Gjokaj as Carter's trusted right-hand Agent Daniel Sousa. The show also featured James D'Arcy as Stark's butler Jarvis, Chad Michael Murray as Jack Thompson and Shea Whigham as chief Dooley.

The series was created by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely the writers behind a slew of Marvel's bet movies. It ran for two season on ABC.
