Addams Family Values is Paramount Pictures' 1993 live-action feature film based on the comic strips of Charles Addams. It is a sequel to The Addams Family and the second in the Addams Family film series of the 1990s.
Gomez (Raul Julia) and Morticia (Anjelica Huston) need help caring for their newborn son Pubert so they hire nanny Debbie Jelinksky (Joan Cusack). Debbie, it turns out, is a black widow predator out to marry (and kill) wealthy bachelors like Fester (Christopher Lloyd), but Wednesday (Christina Ricci) is onto her. To protect her scheme, Debbie tricks the parents into sending Wednesday and Puglsey (Jimmy Workman) off to summer camp where they terrorize the other kids.
The film also features Carol Kane as Grandmama with noteworthy cameos by Cynthia Nixon, Nathan Lane, David Hyde Pierce, Peter Graves and Tony Shalhoub.
Barry Sonnenfeld returns to direct from a script by Paul Rudnick. The film got positive mentions from critics but failed to connect with audiences, pulling lower box office numbers than the previous film. It effectively ended this iteration of the film franchise.
