Addams Family Reunion: Home Entertainment Release

Addams Family Reunion is the 1998 Saban Entertainment live-action, direct-to-video film based on the comic strips of Charles Addams.

Gomez Addams (Tim Curry) discovers his grandparents had "Waltzheimer's Disease" which is causing them to break with family tradition and become more normal. In hopes of finding a cure, Gomez arranges a family reunion in a vacation resort. The cast of the film includes Daryl Hannah as Morticia, Nicole Fugere as Wednesday, Jerry Messing as Pugsley, Patrick Thomas as Fester. Carel Struycken reprises the role of Lurch which he played in the prior theatrical films. Other noteworthy cast members include Kevin McCarthy, Estelle Harris, Ed Begley Jr. and Ray Walston.

David Payne directed the film from a script by Rob Kerchner and Scott Sandin. The film was developed as a pilot for a new TV series iteration, but the film got a poor response from critics. However, Saban still managed to launch a TV series with a (mostly) different cast the same year.
