The Addams Family is a 1973 Hanna Barbera animated TV series based on the comics strips of the same name by Charles Addams.
This animated series followed the popular live-action show of the 1960s, which still flourished in syndicated release. Cast members from the original series, Jackie Coogan and Ted Cassidy returned to voice their characters of Uncle Fester and Lurch. Lennie Weinrib stepped in as Gomez, while Janet Waldo voiced Morticia and Grandmama. Most fascinating is the casting of then-child-actor Jodie Foster as Pugsley.
The show ran for a single, 16-episode season on NBC.
