30 Days of Night is the live-action, direct-to-video sequel to 30 Days Of Night, both based on the comics created by Steve Niles and Ben Templesmith.
The movie finds Stella Oleson (Kiele Sanchez, replacing Melissa George from the theatrical feature), having survived the events of the first movie, travelling the world trying to out the vampires who live in darkness. She's approached by a group with the same mission as hers, find and kill the vampires among us. They movie also stars Rhys Coiro, Diora Baird, Harold Perrineau with Mia Kirshner as the head vampire Lilith.
Ben Ketai, who had previously worked on webisodes for the franchise, directs from a script he co-wrote with Niles. This film is the last installment of the franchise so far.
