September 4
Tales of the Walking Dead, season 1, episode 4, "Amy/Dr. Everett," airs on AMC. In a nature documentary set in the "dead sector", a naturalist who studies walkers encounters a spirited settler; an unlikely respect is forged between the two as the settler tries to argue in favor of people taking back the land from the dead.
Tales of the Walking Dead, season 1, episode 5, "Davon," available on AMC+. In a noir-ish fractured-memory thriller, a young stranger (Jessie T. Usher) suddenly wakes up in a dangerous foreign town with no memory of how he got there; he must piece together fragments of his broken mind to uncover why the townspeople accuse him of murder.
September 7
DC's Stargirl season 3, episode 02, "Frenemies - Chapter Two: The Suspects," airs on The CW. After stumbling upon a suspicious murder in Blue Valley, the JSA begin looking at potential suspects. A tense run-in with The Shade makes Courtney and Pat realize that Sylvester’s old ways could land them in hot water. Finally, Barbara steps in to help Paula, whose attempt at fitting in has not gone so well.
Resident Alien season 2, episode 13, "Harry, A Parent," airs on SYFY. After losing the Alien Baby, Harry discovers which alien race is on Earth and it’s not what he expected.
September 8
Streaming Premiere Thor: Love and Thunder available on Disney+. Thor meets Thor and battles Gorr in this first fourth solo film from Marvel Studios.
