A tweet from Valiant Comics announces that tomorrow we'll finally get a solid look at that Bloodshot movie they've been making.
The tweet includes a graphic snippet of film in which star Vin Diesel's face gets annihilated by a spray of shrapnel or bullets. The movie is due for release by Sony in February.
Digital artist BossLogic, who has done work for Sony in the past, also tweeted out poster art of Diesel in the lead role. We're not sure if this is official but given the artist's past association with Sony, it seems likely. Regardless, it's cool artwork.
Bloodshot is the 2020 Sony Picture Entertainment feature film adaption of the breakout comics character from Valiant Entertainment.
Vin Diesel stars as murdered soldier Ray Garrison who is resurrected by the RST Corporation to become the biotech-enhanced operative known as Bloodshot. Although RST is controlling Garrison's thoughts and memories, the solider is on a mission to break his programming and find out what really happened to him.
Guy Pearce, Sam Heughan, Eiza Gonzalez, Talulah Riley and Toby Kebbell are also cast.
Dave Wilson is directing from a script by Jeff Wadlow and Eric Heisserer.
Valiant hopes to build a cinematic uninverse around their stable of characters, with Bloodshot being the launch point.
