Bloodshot debuted in movie theaters last week as the worst possible time. Just days later, major theater announced closing across all markets in response to the Coronavirus pandemic and calls for social distancing. But Valiant's #1 hero won't be stopped so easily. Nano-tech is scrambling to reassemble the film's audience. To that end, the offical twitter for Bloodshot announces that the movie will be available on digital services March 24.
Bloodshot is the 2020 Sony Picture Entertainment feature film adaption of the breakout comics character from Valiant Entertainment.
Vin Diesel stars as murdered soldier Ray Garrison who is resurrected by the RST Corporation to become the biotech-enhanced operative known as Bloodshot. Although RST is controlling Garrison's thoughts and memories, the solider is on a mission to break his programming and find out what really happened to him.
Guy Pearce, Sam Heughan, Eiza Gonzalez, Talulah Riley and Toby Kebbell are also cast.
Dave Wilson is directing from a script by Jeff Wadlow and Eric Heisserer.
Valiant hopes to build a cinematic uninverse around their stable of characters, with Bloodshot being the launch point.
